“The OB-gyn told me my ovaries are very healthy, marami pang eggs, so I can still have kids.”
This is the proud statement of beauty queen turned actress and television host Ruffa Gutierrez after undertaking a general medical checkup at the St. Luke’s Hospital and Medical Center.
Ruffa, a mother of two by her former husband Bektas of Turkey, even put the statement in her Twitter account.
Some interpreted her twitter statement that she was ready to have another child.

“That’s not what I mean,” she stressed.
“I had a general checkup sa St. Luke’s kasi after my brother Ritchie Paul got sick, the doctor suggested pa-check up kami and so I did,” she said.
“The OB-gyn told me my ovaries are very healthy, marami pang eggs, so I can still have kids. That’s what I put sa Twitter but I don’t have any plans of having any more children. And besides, sinong ama? It’s just nice to know puede pa pala ako,” Ruffa said.
Topnotch showbiz columnist Mario Bautista wrote about Ruffa and her statement on her medical checkup.
He asked Ruffa why doesn’t she accept Smartmatic boss Cesar Flores?
“I already told him that we’ll just be friends. I’m not ready to have another relationship now. Maraming mga desente at guwapong umaaligid diyan, but work and my daughters lang ang focus ko ngayon,” she said.
Ruffa is host of the reality show “Star Factor” that airs Sunday at 5:30 p.m. on TV5, with the winner bagging P1 million cash plus a house and lot.
“I love helping beginners and I wish we could really discover some big stars in our artista search,” she said.
Mario Bautista also reported that Ruffa can also be seen in “Paparazzi” at 2:30 p.m. also on Sundays.
“Yes, so my weekends will be busy and I have several stylists to help me make sure that my wardrobe and my look are different in each show,” she said.
