Sept 3, 2010

QUEZON CITY — The efficiency of Allan Caidic’s shooting technique was again proven in a star-studded competitive game. The Philippine Basketball Association great and ACCEL endorser tossed in 14 threepointers and produced a game-high 52 points against former NBA superstars held recently at the Araneta Coliseum.

Caidic’s accurate marksmanship led Team Red to a 177-167 victory over the Chris Webber and Mitch Richmond-led White squad in the 2010 NBA Asia Challenge. The former San Miguel Beer star is no longer in the big league but continues to hit it big by helping young players shoot with precision through his Allan Caidic Shooting Camp. Presented by ACCEL, the camp is specifically designed to improve one’s shooting skills Caidic style.

“Our goal is to produce more Allan Caidics in the future and this camp could make this objective a reality,” said ACCEL’s Willie Ortiz, president of Sporteum Philippines Inc. Former Los Angeles Laker teammates and potential NBA Hall of Famers Glen Rice and Gary Payton joined hands with Caidic but it was the 6-foot-3 Filipino sniper who made the difference.
