Megastar Sharon Cuneta has apparently accepted back her daughter’s
suitor, actor Piolo Pascual.
Earlier, the elder Cuneta had ill feelings for Piolo for the alleged tweet of his 12-year-old son, Inigo, about her daughter, KC Concepcion. Inigo reportedly tagged KC as a “bitch,” which Sharon resented. Sharon had demanded an apology from Piolo and son, and apparently said sorry about the mixup. Piolo, on TV, denied that his son, who lives with his mother in the United States, has either a Facebook or a Tweeter account. Nonetheless, he apologized to both Sharon and KC for the hurt and inconvenience such report may have caused them.
Top showbiz columnist Ethel Ramos reported that Piolo and “his future mother-in-law” did a duet on stage. And this time, it was KC, who was in the audience rooting for Piolo, and Senator Francis Pangilinan and daughters Frankie and Mel applauding Sharon, she said. Other guests in Sharon’s “Mega Drama” were Sarah Geronimo and comediennes Ai Ai delas Alas and Pokwang. Spotted too were President Noynoy Aquino’s sisters, Ballsy Cruz and Pinky Abelleda. Ethel Ramos said Piolo might just announce his wedding plans “with, well, could it be KC?” At the presscon for his latest endorsement, Quickchow, an instant noodle produced by Zest-O Corporation, Piolo made insinuations that KC is the woman he loves and will
marry, she reported.
Ethel said that at 33, Piolo thinks he is ready for marriage. He is well established in the business of entertainment, being one of the busiest among his contemporaries and a favorite product endorser.
He is also engaged, together with a brother-in-law, in the build and sell business of houses. He also disclosed that he is liquid. Piolo is currently in the lead of the series “Noah,” aired daily on ABS-CBN. It also stars Zaijian Jaranilla, Cherry Pie Picache, Jodi Sta. Maria, Baron Geisler and Joem Bascon.
