No prenup for Luis Manzano, Angel Locsin

Wedding for actor and television host Luis Manzano and actress Angel Locsin could come any time soon.
Luis and Angel have been vocal about settling down but they admitted that they have to put marriage plans in the back burner in the meantime due to busy schedule in show business.
“Ako as an individual, may mga gagawin pa ako. Lalo na si Angel, may movie pa and kung hindi ako nagkakamali, malapit na simulan ang ‘Darna,’’ Luis was quoted by his mother studio ABS-CBN as saying.

“ Emotionally, we are getting there. Ready na rin naman, pero kumbaga mas maganda na rin na malatag namin ang future namin na mas prepared kami,” he pointed out.
And in case the wedding would come soon, there will be no pre-nuptial arrangement between the two, they admitted.
Luis, son of Batangas governor and actress Vilma Santos Recto with actor Eduardo “Eddie” Manzano, stressed that trusts Angel so much and a pre-nup, therefore, is never in their radar should they finally settle down and tie the knot.
Besides, Angel is richer, Luis said.
The mother studio of the couple, ABS-CBN, reported on an interview with Luis and other reporters on the sidelines of “The Voice Kids” press conference.
In the interview, Luis explained further why he feels a prenuptial agreement will not be necessary in their case.
“May tiwala naman ako kay Angel. Second, definitely mas maraming pera sa akin si Angel. Kung ano man ang mayroon ako, katiting lang sa mayroon siya. Ang kapal ko namang humingi ng prenup,” he said.
Is he running for public office next year?
Luis reiterated that he is not yet decided on whether he would venture into politics or not. “As of now, 50-50,” he simply said.
“As of now, parang ayoko talaga,” Luis added.
Though still undecided on running for a public post, Luis said Angel has his back whenever, whatever.
“Hindi ko lang inaasahan, (pero) siya pa ang nagsabi sa akin na, ‘Kulit, kung sakaling itutuloy mo ang pagtakbo mo I’ll be behind you,’” he shared.
Luis told the network he feels fortunate because his girlfriend has told him that she will support whatever his decision will be.
“Siya pa ang nagsabi sa akin na, ‘Kulet kung sakaling itutuloy mo ang pagtakbo mo, I’ll be behind you all the way.’ Ayaw ko namang sabihing patunay [yun ng pagmamahal niya sa akin]. There’s so many more instances na puwede niyang ipakita ang pagmamahal niya. Kumbaga, that may be one, pero hindi lang iyon ang pinakapatunay,” he said.
According to Luis, he is still thinking about it because entering politics means he would have to give up some of his projects in showbiz.
“Kailangan ma-sacrifice naman talaga. Yung current schedule ko ngayon, mahirap na first term na pulitiko tapos mas busy ako sa ABS kumpara sa Batangas. Napakalugi naman ng botante,” he said.
Asked if he is afraid that he may no longer have a showbiz career to come back to in case he runs for public office, the actor-TV host said: “Hindi naman sa walang balikan kundi mami-miss ko siya. Mami-miss ko ang ginagawa ko.”
“For a while, kailangan kong magpahinga din naman talaga. Hindi ko naman sinasabing mawawala ako. Pero kumbaga yung current work load ko magbabago talaga,” he added.
Proving that love is sweeter the second time around, Luis said they are no longer troubled by bouts of insecurities unlike in the past.
Declaring themselves “very happy” and describing their relationship as “easy-easy na,” he noted, “Hindi ‘yung naging kayo pero maraming question marks. Minsan nga sa isang araw ay isang beses lang kaming mag-usap kasi may ginagawa ako, may ginagawa siya. We’re very content.”
Luis is busy hosting “The Voice Kids Season 2.” For him, the six finalists – Kyle Echarri and Zephanie Dimaranan from Team Sarah; Elha Nympha and Sassa Dagdag from Team Bamboo; and Reynan Del-anay and Esang De Torres from Team Lea – “have already reached stardom.”
