  QUESTIONS OF FAITH

Who Cares?

“And as it is appointed unto man once to die, but after this the judgment.”
(Hebrews 9:27)

Once we were born in this world our bodies will already start to deteriorate. No matter how careful we are in taking care of ourselves with good food, good exercise, good vitamins and minerals and taking religiously all the medications that we need to cure our sicknesses and diseases, we still die. God already appointed the number of days we will live here on earth. But when we die, it’s not the end yet, there is judgment.
When we die and go to hell, WHO CARES? GOD CARES. God does not want us to go to Hell. He wants us to be with Him in Heaven forever and ever. He loves us unconditionally and so He planned our salvation through His Son Jesus Christ. “For God so loved that world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
When we die and go to hell, WHO CARES? JESUS CARES? “For the Son of Man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” (Matthew 18:11). We are lost in this dark world because of sin. And because of sin we are like lost sheep waiting to be slaughtered. “As it is written; for your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” (Romans 8:36) And “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23) Our Lord Jesus Christ took all our sins on the cross, paid the penalty of our sins on the cross, shed His blood on the cross, He gave His life on the cross so that He can give us His precious gift of eternal life.
When we die and go to Hell, WHO CARES? All the people in Heaven care. God does not want anyone to perish so He is very patient waiting for us to repent of our sins, to turn away from our sins and turn to God and give our life to Him so He can give us His life. So if there is one sinner who repents, all the people in Heaven are tremendously rejoicing. “I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in Heaven over one sinner who repents.” (Luke 15:7)
When we die and go to Hell, WHO CARES? All the people in Hell care. After we die, we don’t have any more chances to repent of our sins. If we rejected Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and Redeemer, we already condemned ourselves and we will be tormented in Hell. The rich man said,
27 “Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family.”
28 “For I have five brothers, let him warn them so that they will not also come to this place of torment.”
29 Abraham replied, “they have Moses and the prophets, let them listen to them.”
30 “No, father Abraham,” he said, “but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.”
31 He said to him, “if they do not listen to Moses and the prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.” (Luke 16:27-31)
When you die and go to Hell, WHO CARES? We care because God has given us a lot of love to give to others. God has given us spiritual gifts to share the Word of God to others. God has blessed us to write His articles with His heart and mind so we could spread the good news our Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior, and our Redeemer. And God has given us the courage to be bold in sharing the gospel to snatch people from the lake of fire through the power of His Word. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes… (Romans 1:16)
We thank God, WE CARE. Now, friend, DO YOU CARE?
