In a message to President Tolledo that will appear in the souvenir magazine of the event, President Aquino said, “Though we each walk different paths, empowerment remains our shared enterprise. Rest assured, the Philippine government is working to build on the gains of our reforms, so that when you return to your beloved homeland, you can say that so many things have changed for the better, and that the promise of a more robust and progressive Philippines is at hand.”
