James wooing back Kris

July 9, 2010

Couple insists no third party in separation
Yes, Maria Clara, top cager James Yap is wooing back his wife, Kris Aquino. James made the revelation as he stressed his love for his wife Kris and son James Jr. James also insisted there was no third party involved in their latest separation.

And this was confirmed no less by Kris who, however, insisted it was over for her and James. In a text message to top columnist and television host Ricky Lo, Kris said in reaction to speculations about the cause of it all: “Me? Involved with someone new? Or somebody gay involved with James?” One speculation for the breakup was that “a single, influential, famous and prominent politician” maybe involved.

Asked Kris, “Tito Ricky, may I know who this man is? Para I can make sure to stay away from him
since pinag-uusapan na kami. Or for all we know, di ko s’ya kilala.” And then there’s another rumor about a
“younger man” which she denied. Kris also told Ricky that “Last Friday, Zsa Zsa (Padilla) warned me na si
Coco Martin naman ang pinag-uusapan na ili-link with me.”

The popular presidential sister had a ready answer. “ That’s not true.” “Categorically, I can say that I have been 100 percent faithful in the five years of our marriage. Wala sa track record ko, Tito Ricky, na magloko. I don’t think my soon-to-be ex can say the same thing,” she said. Kris and sons Joshua and Baby James are
leaving for a well-deserved vacation abroad any day now. Meanwhile, husband James will be home. In the
meantime,National Apellate Marriage Tribunal of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (NAMT-CBCP) head Archbishop Oscar Cruz has advised television host and actress Kris Aquino not to get married again, especially in church. Former Lingayen-Dagupan Archbishop Cruz said Aquino should forget
marrying in church altogether due to her personality.

“It will be hard for Kris, in her personality context, to enter into a valid church marriage. The way I see her, seeing her from her past relationships, [she] will find it hard to be a partner, to be a real partner of another, which is the essence of marriage,” the archbishop said over Church-run Radio Veritas 846. “The main reason is that she is more for herself than for someone else like a spouse. Meaning to say, she is not someone who
[thinks of] herself as a partner to somebody else so that the two of them become one. Marriage is partnership,” added Cruz.

If the actress wants to marry again, he said, it would be best if she avails of civil marriage. “I would not advise her to get married in church. If she wants to marry again, it should be civil so that the annulment process is fast,” Cruz said. The prelate, however, stressed that he is not pronouncing moral judgment on Aquino. “I’m not pronouncing judgment on whether she is good or bad, or whether she is a sinner or a saint.
No, I’m not doing that. I’m just talking about her, based on my experience in the marriage tribunal,” said
Cruz. Last Sunday, Aquino revealed on her showbiz talkshow that the legalization of her separation with
husband James Yap is already being worked out.
