Popular actress and entertainer Ruffa Mae Quinto admits she is already exasperated with the seemingly never ending reports linking her romantically with outgoing Pampanga Congressman Juan Miguel “Mikey” Arroyo.
This despite the fact that she had consistently denied the reports or rumors. Besides, Arroyo, the eldest son of former President now Pampanga Represen-tative Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and Atty.
Jose Miguel Arroyo, is happily married with beautiful, well educated and intelligent Mikaela Montenegro with whom he has now growing children. The trouble with her denials is that the answers are never clear, that’s why the reports, or simply rumors, continue to persist. She also would admit that she has a lover, but would never reveal his true name, adding he wants privacy. This mystery man, she once said even gifted her with a house and lot – or is it a mansion – in California, bolstering the rumors about the former solon whose famiy is known to have properties in the golden state. Maybe in time she would make public and reveal her mystery man, Ruffa Mae said.
He will reveal himself to the public in due time, he said. Asked when that might be, Rufa Mae said: “‘Yun ang hindi ko pa actually tinanong sa kanya kasi ayoko naman actually ng puwersahan, ‘di ba? Bahala na siya. Ngayon, kung nanonood siya, itext na lang siya at lahat na lang ng tanong mo sagutin na lang niya.”
Simply exhausted with the persistent rumors, the sexy comedienne and singer challenged her detractors to go to Arroyo, her alleged mystery man, and ask him directly about their supposed link. “Seriously, kung gusto n’yong tanungin si Mikey Arroyo, tanungin n’yo siya, ‘di ba? Kasi ang hirap, eh. Nakakahiya. Ang daming nadadamay. Ako na ang magsasabi, tanungin n’yo na lang siya,” Ruffa Mae said during her “Showbiz News Ngayon” interview with her cohosts John Lapus, Pia Guanio and Raymond Gutierrez over GMA News Channel 7 last July 4.
“Wala akong ginagawang masama. Alam n’yo kung sino man ang sinasabi nila, okay lang sa akin. Basta ang
importante, I’m happy, I’m doing my job and kung tungkol kay Mikey Arroyo, okay, para matapos na, siya ang tanungin n’yo. At ako, wala akong masasabi tungkol sa kanya. ‘Di ko siya sinasabi na siya si Mr. M at saka wala akong masasabi talaga, eh. Ano ang sasabihin ko, ‘di ba?” she stressed.
