Why P-Noy wants a second term

In his attempt to fulfill his campaign promise to eradicate corruption and poverty, President Benigno “P-Noy” Aquino III may have violated the Constitution. In his zeal to continue his “reforms” beyond the six-year term he was elected, he wants to amend the Constitution to allow the president to run for re-election. Relic of 20-million-year-old sea cow new attraction of Palawan Underground River

VP Binay, mayor-son hit, defended over Makati ‘mess’ in Senate hearing

Palace: No basis to impeach Pnoy

MANILA — The Palace believes there is no basis for the impeachment complaints filed against President Benigno S. Aquino III, whose reform agenda still has the support of the people.
“We believe that there is no basis for that (impeachment),” said Presidential Spokesman Edwin Lacierda in a press briefing.
